Hello,

I am wondering if you know if 'Annie' was a popular girls name in the
1875's through the 1900's. I always thought that Annie was a nickname
for Anna.or Ann.but have seen it used alone many times. In fact my
grandmother's name was Annie.

Your comments welcome.

Thank you,

Joan Doyle
