Dear Kaye,

If the mother died two weeks after the child died, the childs death could
have been at any point in time prior to the mothers, this determines
neither, only the cases of two deaths based on assumptions about an opinion!
And only about the cause of one.

I agree with your deduction about being up and about however tho that is
only a further assumption concerning the unknown circumstances derived
from a term.

Women working on the land are known to have given birth in the fields and
were soon working again. If such a case occured in those circumstances
and was given as confinement it was clearly not the case tho it might well
have been cited, I posit?

Neither did the mother die in childbirth or do we know when the child died
from what you stated? Many other assumptions can be made, but the term
'Confinement' is only that and not fact being purely opinion at the time and
now us about an historical event.

In all the cases under discussion not even the Century was given ?

Assumptions can only lead us to possible conclusions not certainty.

Life was not for all what it was for some.

Yours,
Mikey.
