We know there is a bunch of latin phrases people use even today:
Carpe Diam (seize the day),et cetera (maybe the most common latin
phrase in English!), Caesar's veni, vedi, vici (I came, I saw, I
conquered), my personal favorite Tempus fugit (time flees).
For your enjoyment, I found the following slightly less common
phrases on one of Lee Daniel's newsletters...You might find one
or two of them useful when trying to impress the less informed!

category, I offer the following sent by a friend:
