Re: Heinlein's whistling pig. I suspected he might not be a singer even
as I was writing the message, but I knew he was no whistle-pig. Eh?
When I was in seminary, there was in the same school a girl from Cyprus.
She was very sweet and everyone liked her right well. You can then
imagine our distress when, through the windows of the refectory we saw
her walking red-faced and crying toward the door! When the door opened,
the aroma of skunk filled the room and explained the whole cause of her
distress. Her first words to us, the briefest sentence, told the story
best:
"What kind of cats you have in this country?"
I wish all of you who observe them the best of paschal holy-days.
