Hi George

Welcome to the List.

You have read it correctly as far as it goes, but what you have missed is
that this is not just a "normal" p but will be, if you look carefully,
carrying a particular loppy mark which is an abrreviation mark indicating
that "ro" (or something similar) is missed out, hence whist it reads
"pfitte" it means "profittes" - thats because the letter at the other end
will be another symbol representing "es" or "is".
