I'm glad you asked this John as I've just read the same thing in
one of the Wills I'm transcribing and also wondered what members
meant.
Also there are mentions of a moiety or one half share... does
moiety mean a half share? I've seen it elsewhere and not realised
it may have meant this - I had thought it was some other property
term like messuage etc. It's only in this Will that it is stated
as moiety or one half share.
