Hello listers...apologies for multiple copies if you are on all three lists.

I want to pursue information about Benjamin TIMBERSON, an enlisted man in
the Orange County Militia, Fourth Regiment, per the book "New York as a
Colony and a State". In the book "Abstracts of Revolutionary War Service
Records", the same person is listed with Hasbrouck's Regiment, NY Militia.

I cannot locate him in any census using Ancestry.com and soundex searches,
nor in web sources for "Graves of Rev War Patriots", nor in searching
Google.

Where can I find more info about the Orange County Militia? Fourth Regiment?
Hasbrouck's Regiment?

What towns in Orange County recruited these men? What were the battles?
