Hi Loretta, I saw your message on nycayuga. I am a descendant of the
VanBenschoten line. My great great grandfather's wife was the daughter of
Rebecca VanBenschoten. The family lived in Summerhill in the 1800s. You may
already have this info.
Rebecca Tryphena VanBenschoten married Dennis T Miller. Their daughter Phebe
Tryphena married Milo B Seccomb. Their son Milo L Seccomb married Etta
Midgley(my great grandparents) These people lived in Cayuga County until
their deaths and are buried in Soule Cemetery in Sennet and Fort Hill
Cemetery in Auburn. If this is something that is of interest to you and you
would like more info from this end of the family, let me know. I would be
more than happy to share!
