If there is still interest in the prison labor topic, I have a quite
lengthy report which was sent to me by the officials at the prison in
1993. It has several paragraphs about the kinds of things made and tells
of the changes in the system regarding that in following years.
I don't mind typing some of the material into this format if it would be
helpful to anyone at this time, but don't want to do it if there is no
further interest after reading what has been sent already.
Just let me know. The booklet I'm referring to is titled: "Auburn
State Prison, Its History, Purpose, Makeup and Program" issued by the NY
State Dept. of Correction

Now for a question for Auburn historians: Is there any way I can find
out if there are any records left from a mortuary in Auburn in 1914? It
was Tallman & Walker Undertaking Establishment at 47 Clark St.

Thanks, Jo
