I'm not sure what program you are using, but these can be broken apart in
Excel and fed into separate columns.
Save file as either txt or html -- use a program like Note Tab Lite to
strip the html [Note Tab Lite is free]. -- save stripped file as txt
Open file cleaned by Note Tab in Excel and it will have the ability to put
it into delimited files on the data conversion.
This is what I got from the file:
1015 PADDOCK WARREN O IRA 01/24/1864
964 PAINTER ALANSON A CONQUEST 01/02/1864
970 PALMER DAVID B GENOA 12/31/1863
which doesn't look great here but does in Excel. I suspect that any other
programs that strip HTML and programs that function like Excel can put it
into columns. Then from Excel, you can go to regular databases.
The above is from one of the pages on the web and total time to do one page
and write this was about 10 minutes.
