Good news. Our list a grown a little bit. Maybe we can even get a thread
going. I am wondering if others remember the $64,000 question and the
scandal that followed. I know I do. With all the talk of the new quiz
shows it comes to mind. We personally have tried for the Millionaire one a
couple times but have fallen short. How about you? They say the point of
new shows is to appear as if anyone could win. In the past you had to be an
expert in a field. Those watching at home generally did not have a clue
what the answer was.
Speaking of TV shows, I remember when we got our first TV. I was in 6th
grade. We actually bought it in a bar/country club? During the first TV
buying frenzy, shops were set up temporarily to display them and make a
killing. We drove to the next town to purchase ours. We lived in a very
small town.
Also, back then, TV shows didn't even come on until afternoon. No
chance of someone watching TV all day :+) Who would have guessed that all
these channels would exist and you could turn on the TV any time and see
something? Mary in Cincinnati
