Dear Listers,

I require Help!
I am writing a book on my family history, I have done it in Word 2000. All
has gone well until I have got up to page 146 (106,295 ).
It will not save any new data I enter, comes up with message that I do not
have enough disk space left.
I have a 40GB hard disk & have 35 GB free space on it, I have also deleted
some of the other files I had on there to help make more space, But still of
no help.
I have tried to save this book onto a CD from word but it will not save it
to a CD.
Any Help will be greatly recieved.

I am sick of spending hours of typing and it all being lost when I close
down the computer.

Hi Jocelyn,

Try splitting the document up into sections by opening up new word documents
and cut and past from the main document sections of it into each of the new
documents and try saving each of these starting with the last section first.
If you can save the last section of your story, then delete it from the main
document, then try the next section, and so on. It is the best I can
suggest.
