We finally found the turkey and will be having Thanksgiving here at our home.

Here I am, age 68, and we had been going "home" 40 miles away all these
years, despite our parents passing, and having Thanksgiving with my sister who
still lives in the area. But the kids finally told us they'd rather have
Thanksgiving at our house, so that's what we're doing. Old traditions are hard to let
go.
Just musing about Christmas, but I've always noted that Christmas Eve and Day
have very little traffic. It seems to me that would be by far the heaviest
traffic of the year with "the kids" trying to split Christmas with both sets of
in-laws. Those drives were another tradition.
