I thank you for your input in more ways than one!
I had the birth year from a census - often an iffy number.
I DO have access to the NEHG Register but forgot to re-up my membership. I
found heaps of info there. You also reminded me not to get into a research
rut; I mostly use NEHG records for my paternal llines since my most of my
mother's people came via Prince Edward Island - but not all. Grandpa married
a NH girl.
