I was thrilled to see the list of RONEY graves from Union Ridge United Church of
Christ.
I, myself, have a large number of ancestors (including two great great
grandparents, three ggg grandparents, and two gggg grandparents) buried in that
cemetery, and have visited it on numerous occasions.

The second wife of Benjamin F. RONEY's son, Chesley H. RONEY, was
a cousin of mine, Essie A. BLANCHARD, daughter of William A. BLANCHARD and
Sarah Cornelia FAUCETT, both of whom are buried at Union Ridge UCC. Chesley H.
RONEY's son, Herbert C. RONEY, by his first wife, Sarah E. "Sallie" CURTIS,
married Millie Catherine LONG, another cousin of mine.

Herbert C. RONEY (1883-1922) and Millie Catherine LONG (1894-1982) had one
daughter, Nancy (or Nannie) Mildred RONEY, born August 20, 1914, in Alamance
County, NC. She married John Kendall WARD, who was born about 1911 in Guilford
County, on December 1, 1935, in Alamance County. If anyone has any information
about descendants of this WARD/RONEY marriage, I'd like to hear from you. They
need to be included in a book I'm working on.

I am willing to provide a GEDCOM file of the information I have on the
descendants of Benjamin F. RONEY to anyone who sends me a request privately.
In return, I hope you will give me what information you have.
