Hi- new to this list. Trying to find information on my Great grandmother-
Hessie Lenore Gibson of N.C. She and my greatgrandfather Benjamin Franklin
Pearson would have been married around 1918? Only leads I have on Hessie's
family were that her mother's name was Head and she was killed by lightning
while milking a cow and her brother was Preston Gibson who was Sheriff? of
Mecklinburg County.
Anybody know anything about a Sheriff named Preston Gibson?
