Bob, unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you, but am forwarding this part of your note to the Friedens List in hopes that another Boon Researcher might post an answer.

Thanks for sending the photo of Anna Boon's tombstone! I'll add it to our on-line Photo Album.

Best regards,

Subject: Boon/Boone Research

Question: When I was (at Friedens) we searched for the graves of John (River) Boon, 2 Aug 1783- to ? after 1832, and his wife Elizabeth Huffman (17 Apr 1793 - 7 Jan 1856). Not at Frieden, probably North of the Haw in Alamance, due North from Burlington. If anyone has their information, let me know...

{If anyone really wants to know about Jonathan Boone's (born 1730 Oct 6) (of Squire) son, John Boon (b 1767 VA) and where he went let me know, as there are still some researchers trying to fit the Frieden John Boon (b 1755 VA) into the English Boone Family, as I believed and researched back in the 70s. My Kin turned out to be German, not English, and a lot more interesting.)

Best to you
