I'm looking for the parents and siblings of my grandfather Dossey J. Pearson.
He was born 1876 probably in eastern NC or SC. He had one sister I know of,
Lizzie (Elizabeth?) and several brothers.He was in Florence SC 1905, when my
father was born, and he died in Rocky Mount (Nash county) Feb 1933. I've been
trying for several months to locate his parents, but keep running into stone
walls. Please if anyone can look in the 1880 census, I will dance at your
next wedding. Thanks so very much.
