Hi All,
Here are my surnames. Most are from East TN, then
coming from SW VA and Western NC.

AMBROSE,Mary married Beverage BRANAM in Washington
Co.,TN in 1833.
AMMONS: NC>TN
BRADY,John: This is the only one of my ancestors that
I have found listed as anything but "white". In the
1850 Cocke Co.,TN census he is listed as mulatto at
age 15. He was ?married? to Harriet DICKSON.
BRANAM:David b.abt 1785, most likely from VA but too
many David BRANAMs to ascertain which one is mine.
Named his son Beverage.
CONNER, James Harvey: I know nothing about this man
other than he is listed on his daughter's death cert.
Found his wife Orpha Elizabeth YOUNGBLOOD b.abt.1882
GA with the kids on the 1910 Knox Co.,TN census. Not
another lick of evidence on this family.
DRAKE:NC>TN- This line I can trace back into NC and
they married HINES & GREEN.
DICKSON,Thomas b.abt.1798 in VA: daughter Harriet
married John BRADY. He was ?married? to Margaret ?. In
Cocke Co.,TN in 1850.
GOINS, Timothy: My hardest brick wall. I thought I had
found him as the son of Pleasant GOIN up in Claiborne
Co.,TN. Then I found a death date which I am trying to
find out where it came from. He was ?married? to Anna
IDOL. After the 1860 census with Timothy at home w/
Pleasant GOIN, I lose him in 1870, but pick him up in
1880 in Union Co.,TN. Then Anna files for divorce in
1891 in Knox Co.,TN. stating that Timothy ran off to
KY but haven't found any evidence for it yet. The next
evidence is Annie on the 1910 Knox Co.,TN census. I
know it's her because two of her known children live
right next door. I have alot of info but not with
Timothy in it. If my Timothy winds up being the son of
Pleasant, it answers a WHOLE lot of questions. Other
names associated with this line is ODELL, IDOL,
CONNER, ANDERSON.
LINKUS,Mary "Mollie" b.abt.1870. She married Thomas
WOLLARD.
LUNSFORD,David: on the 1880 Buncombe Co.,NC census as
a widow I would suppose. He is listed with two
daughters: M.L. age 7 & C.E. age 3. C.E. I believe to
be Cora. She married Bruce Melvin BRANAM. After this
they lived in Sevier Co.,TN.
MARTIN,Margaret:Blount Co.,TN>Knox Co.,TN. She married
John WATERS first and then married Charles Caulk
DRAKE.
ROBERTS,William: These ROBERTS have Hawkins Co.
ties. His son Henry Graham ROBERTS was b.1773.
STALLARD,Julia: Don't know if this is her maiden name
or not. She was the mother, we believe of Mollie
LINKUS through John LINKES o Grainger Co.,TN.
