Hi Ted,

Thank you! Yes, this is it! Your assistance is gratefully
appreciated. So my mother's voyage would probably taken place in
August 1927 assuming the URDANETA would have taken to sea immediately
after launch.

My mother recalls how the ship lost all steam for several hours when an
engine quit (near the Azores?) and how they had to fly a distress flag
as she was drifting towards rocks.
