Bernard asked, "I Have several certificates BMD,s which are of no use to
me. Areas Birkenhead,Portsmouth Nottingham Northampton.
Is there anywhere I can send them where they might eventually go to a good
home."

Hi Bernard,

To give an unwanted certificate the widest chance of being useful to someone
else, you might like to consider the following scheme, which includes the
Genuki List, the GOONS and the SofG and would seem to be the best disposal
method:

Quote. GENUKI FAMILY HISTORY NEWS
If you have a spare certificate that is of no use to
you at all then you can either send me the details via
email, at

or send me the certificate. If the certificate
is sent to me then it will be sent on to any
enquiries. After six months if nobody has claimed the
certificates as interesting to their research then
they will be deposited at the SoG library. I will
however keep all the details of the certificate on
file and pass them on to any relevant one name studies
registered with the Guild of One Name Studies.

The address for spare certificates to be sent to is:
GFHN, 66 Northern Road, Aylesbury, HP19 9QY
Unquote.

The details could also of course be sent to the http://www.ukbdm.org.uk/
site in addition to the above.

For those who are unfamiliar with Genuki's Family History News, it is easy
to obtain, details below:
