Hello to all of you on the list, I've been without electric since July 12th
until this evening. So have a lot of other people in the St. Francois &
Washington & St. Louis area. We sure are used to have electric & water. One
doesn't realize how much they use both of these things in our everyday life,
until we reach for the switch to turn on our water or lights. Praise the
LORD for watching over us in all these storms & high temperatures. We also
have several trees down, so does a lot of other people. We feel very
fortunate the trees did not land on our home or any of our power lines or
out buildings.
You all probably thought I was on vacation. It was a vacation a little old
fashion way with neither electric or water (except what we delivered to our
home in jugs). Ha, ha,
I will try to catch up with the obituaries now.
