Dear List,

I know that this couple were in St Francois Co, Iron Co, Wayne Co and maybe Jasper Co. They were poor. When Will Jones married their daughter Jane, he moved the whole family to live near him in St Francois Co.

Nancy know that she had 4 children who lived to adulthood. I know who these people were. But I found that she had had 10 children, as per a census. There is an age gap between Jane and the next child and there is another gap between the last two children. Maybe there was a child after the last living one.

What Jane told her daughter, was that she had heard that there had been triplets in the family. Jane was not able to know that this daughter would have twins. Jane was fascinated with multiple births.

She was not liked by her family, but who would be nice after all she went through. But Jane was nice even if she was not well and had had 9 children herself. I never met either woman.
