The 2002 reunion for the descendants of William Dixon m Christina Orchard
1755,
Bethlhem Moravian Church.
their sons
Joseph Dixon m Rosina Huber she was from OLDMANS CREEK NJ He was a doctor in
Pa. Moravian
Johann Dixon m Catherine Williard
Their sons
Joseph Frederick Dixon b 1804
Charles William Dixon/Dickson b 1808
George Christian Dixon b 1812
All of the above were members of the Moravian Church.
William Dixon and wife were sent from Bethlehem, Pa. to Bethabara to run the
store in 1759. They are both buried at Gods acre.
Johann ( John) left the church in 1812 and he and his 3 sons ended up in
Burke and McDowell
county,NC in the Gold mines.
Many cousins still live in the McDowell county area.
Reunion is open to all related family.
July 27 11am until.
Dysartville Community Center Hwy 226 south of Marion NC... ( or North of
Rutherfordton)
located across the street from Dysartville Baptist Church social hall.Please
bring a picnic lunch to share with family and friends.
The 2001 reunion was great fun so bring genealogy notes and family pictures
and come and
join us for all the excitement.
If you plan to be in the area on Friday evening July 26,2002 some cousins
will meet at the community center to meet and share information.Please join
us.

Door prizes, Also,many pictures to share from my recent trip to Fulneck and
Gomersal Moravian Church and W. Yorkshire Hunslet St Mary's Parish where
William Dixon was born and baptised 1716.
