Mary Ann,
I have one Amos MIKSCH in my data bank who is a likely
candidate for the Amos of your posting.
This Amos is the son of John Frederick MIKSCH and Elizabeth HUBER.
Both parents born in PA and died in Gnadenhutten, he in 1837 and she
in 1853.
Amos was the 7th of 9 children, b 1816 and d 1901. He married in 1843
to Salome Keller. My records show they had two children, Julia, b
1866 and lived in Wellman Iowa. Also Edward b 1858.
I also have an Anna Viola MIKSCH b in 1865 in Tuscararus Co OH. She
married Warwick Shaw and lived in Illinois. She did extensive
genealogy work including DAR application 240099 in 1931. She died in
1950 and her genealogy records are lost.
There is certainly circumstantial evidence these are the two MIKSCHs
you are looking for, but, sorry, I have no data to support the
relationships.
