"The Free Methodist is a
denomination that seperated from the early Methodist (Episcopal) Church."

Is the United Methodist Church the same as the Methodist-Episcopal Church?
Forgive my ignorance. One of my g,g,g,grandfathers help to start a
Methodist-Espiscopal Church--this is documented in local history. I am
trying to find out more about my ancestors.
