My grandfather LUTHER BISSELL and family members were pioneer
Methodists in Kay Co, OK. They contributed to the establishment of the
nearby Prairie Chapel church, subsequent to the Cherokee Run.
About the turn of the 20th Century, Luther and some of the family
removed to Blackwell where they may have joined the local Methodist
community.

Would the membership records of both of the churches still exist? I'd
like to have copies of Luther's records and those of his sons,
particularly LEO, who was my father.

Any guidance and help would be appreciated very much. Thank you.
