There is a church down the road from me that rings the bell. When I first
moved here, it took me awhile to figure out where it was coming from. Now,
I'm so used to it, I don't pay it much mind. I need to stop what I'm doing
sometimes and pay more attention.
When my grandma still lived in Kentucky, when the bells would ring, it meant
someone got hurt or killed in the coal mines.
