I had ONE trick or treater, the little girl just down the road. I think
she is the only person for several miles under the age of 16. She came
with her parents, who also were in costume so I rummaged in the "goody
bowl" and found an orange plastic spider ring for her Mom and they all got
a laugh out of that. Then the little girl shyly gave me a little paper
thing she had made, it looks like it is to hang over the door knob, that
said Happy Halloween. That's the first time a trick or treater ever came
to my door and gave ME something. I thought it was so sweet. Ruth
