Emma, don't beat your self up thinking you should have done better in your
life. We can all do that and imagine there were things your mama whished she
had done different. In those days they were made of really strong stock and
did with what they had, took care of family the hard way.
We all grew up next generation, not quite as hard doing things as they had,
I am sure you did what you thought best at the time. That is all any one can
do. Sounds like your family loves you and that is what counts.
Hope your not getting any ash blowing back in. We have allot of smoke in the
valley today, burning fields south of us. Ick. Maybe it is your ash.
