Never go to a shoe store anymore other than VanDyke and Bacon. I have to
wear tie shoes for support of my numb feet. They are comfortable and fit
well. I remember also the machine that looked at the fit of the shoe on
your foot. I even wore corrective shoes then. Went to a shoe store on
Rogers Avenue in Brooklyn. See I remember. I remember when I stopped
wearing high shoes and went to the lower shoe. It was a big day in my life.
My feet, though, will never be right. It's a family thingy. We all have
leg problems from little up many of us having had the necessary operations
that go along with leg problems. Thank God I wasn't one of them.
The people - in the old days they tried the shoes on you. Today, you try
them on yourself (except at VanDyke and Bacon).

Marie
