I want to wish everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July. Because of budget
cut backs our city is not having anything at the park except the fireworks at
dark. Down town will be beer gardens and handicraft stands, there will be a
5,000 race starting early in the morning and a lot of folks will go up the canyon.
Oh, yes there is the white water rafting also. Yesterday was our Deputy
Sheriffs funeral 1,000 law enforcement officers in attendance. Everytime I hear
that lone bagpipe player play "Amazing grace," it brings tears to the eye. The
weather is warm here. Hopefully it will be warm and dry for all to enjoy the
fireworks where ever you are. Before I forget the full moon was out last night.
