I have been here lurking for months, a long time Memory Laner, I have Crohns
Disease and have been weakened by the steroids and other medications I am
taking trying to get it under control. I felt somewhat better yesterday and we
have Commissary priviledges, (husband retired after 20 years in the AF) at the
Selfridge ANG here in Michigan about 50 miles from us so I don't go often and
haven't been able to because of my illness, my daughter took me and I was
afraid to try one of those carts. They hold so little and we each had a cart and I
still can't believe I held up thru the whole thing having spent 750.00 on
groceries. It took 3 of them to carry it all in and put it away, needless to say
I was wiped out on the couch. Oh, daughter did buy me a Red Bull to drink on
the way home, I think it did give me some energy. It's good to be back
feeling a little better anyway.
