Thank you Donna--my birthday is May 25--this year I celebrated by going
to a beautiful Sunday wedding. The bride had "women of distinction" who
were important in her life lined up in a row on each side at the back of
the church and they each handed her a beautiful lavender rose--and her
mother gave her a rose dipped in 24 carat gold. This was her bridal
bouquet. She can give this special rose to her daughter. I had never
seen
the "jumping the broom" either. My grand daughter sang "The Lords
Prayer".Later that evening all my family got together for dessert at a
local restaurant--the cards they gave me made me want to cry. I didn't
realize how important I have been in their lives. While we were in the
restaurant the one grandson who wasn't able to be there called and sang
happy birthday to me. All in all a very happy day. Grace
