I have done research on most local families (Girdletree and Stockton) and have data on the Aaron J. Ingersoll family. He was born in NJ in 1858 and no doubt came to Girdletree as part of the "Oyster Gold-Rush." He and wife Emma C. Hill produced at least 7 children, including William Winfield Ingersoll, b. 1887.
If you let me know where your own collection of data now stands and how you descend from the Ingersoll family, I can perhaps help you. --Bob Jones
