Dr. Philip G. McCracken wrote about the other James McCracken that
entered the U.S. about the same time as our James McCracken in
Pennsylvania. They were also about the same age too. This just helped
to complicate things.

I have his book.

There is another line of McCrackens in Maryland that I need to check
out. I know they are not directly relatable. One of them has a farm
near Baltimore.

Clyde, I'll send you $10.00 for copies too. Where do I mail it? The
more information we can get from the 1700s, the better.

That would be interesting. This JAMES is not mine,but years ago I found
this film on Revolutionary War pension applications and found it
interesting. I had forgotten about it,but later remembered it,so I
looked it up and copied most of it and entered it into my data base. I
thought some folks might be interested.
