Many thanks for your replies and the address of the Norwood church. I will contact them and hopefully find other siblings with sponsors. The certificate is in deed beautiful, which I have framed, even though slightly damaged, on corners. I have also been sent what the family believe are confirmation portraits. The boys look like the Vontrapp family all decked out in their suits (German) and high top boots. The children each are wearing a flower. To begin with I did think that a wedding had taken place. Was this a common occurrence during confirmation?
