These look very similar to the query pages for Ford and Iroquois County,
Illinois, and though this method requires greater maintenance than a
query bin form, it is more controllable, editable and changeable than
using a bin form. We have found it useful for easy contact, and in our
opinions (mine and Deb's) preferable to the query bin used alone.

All excellent ideas and a commitment to a lot of work.

I assume you would put an email link on the page to be used to send the
information to you? Then copy and paste? Or have you another method in
mind?

Boy, can I relate to that! She's right folks. Some pages using this
query method get updated only about twice a month, because it is very
labor-intensive.

I might also suggest that those who have special documents or
directories for specific congregations and/or schools (colleges, junior
colleges, church high schools and grade schools, etc.) list them as
available for lookups IF the person will actually commit to doing the
lookups. For instance, I have a 75th Anniversary Book for my home
congregation, published when I was 3 years old. It contains a list of
all the voting members (all men, of course) since the inception of the
congregation up to 1945. I would list it as a lookup tool for Lutherans
in Iroquois County, Illinois. I also have an alumni directory for
Concordia Lutheran High School, Fort Wayne. That would be listed, as
well.

This assumes, of course, that one KNOWs this information. My personal
purpose would be to DISCOVER these things regarding the congregations in
Addison, Illinois and Dunklee's Grove/Bensenville.
