Apparently there are two Burley properties, one styled as Burley Cottage (1834) and the other as Burley Manor (c1835) only a few hundred yards south of the Burley Cottage. The Burley Manor was built by a John Mitchell, who within two years' time sold the property to Elizabeth Hammond and as of 1994 was still in the family. The Burley Cottage was built by John Selby Purnell and as of 1994 was still in the family.
So, I for one, am curious as to which house is on the market, although I suspect it is the Manor as the Cottage has a brick in the wall to prove its date.

about them too. Might be someone on the list's ancestral home?
