Yoo-Hoo has been around for a long time. It wasn't available in Michigan
where I grew up, but I remember having it as a kid in the 40s and 50s while
visiting aunts and uncles in Missouri. There was also a non-chocolate,
fruit-flavor one called Bubble-Up that I only tasted on visits to Missouri.
Looking back, I think it must have had lots of carbonation and lots of
caffeine, because you got a real pick-up from it.

Some of these drinks were regional, and some still are. Michiganders all
know about Vernor's ginger ale, not widely available elsewhere. Vernors and
ice cream - mmmmm!
