Hi Carol,
Are you related to these Kelly's? I don't have any connection to any of
their descendants. I would love to learn of any others connected to this
family. Here is what I have:
John Franklin Kelly and Anna M. Giles Kelly had 6 children. They were:
William J.T. Kelly- b. July 1865 d. 1930's?
married Neva Mae Howard in 1890, they lived in Ocracoke, NC, Belhaven,
NC, and later in the Norfolk, VA area. Wm. died in Chesapeake, VA sometime
in the 1940's or 50's. They had 5 children. He was a mariner.
James F. Kelly- b. 1866 d.? I have found him in the 1880 Baltimore census
as well as in the 1890 Balt. city directory listed as a mariner.
Mary Katurah Kelly Bulluck (Kate) and Martha Ellen Kelly Hicks (Ella),
twins, born October 21, 1868. Ella was my great grandmother. She married a
man from NC and they had one daughter, Mary, born Feb. 1899. Ella's husband
died in the Span. Am. War in Sept. 1899 when her daughter was 6 mos. old.
Anna Kelly died in Sept. 1899. What a year for Ella! Ella raised her
daughter alone and went on to college to become a Chiropractor. She
practiced in New York until her death in 1937. Kate Kelly Bulluck lived in
Rocky Mount, NC and had one son. Kate died in 1962 and the twins are buried
together in Rocky Mount, NC.
Isaac W. Kelly- b. 1870 d.?
Daniel J. Kelly- b. 1874 d. 1874
These are the dates that I have. If you are interested in any further
info., please feel free to ask. I can send you my Family Tree Maker files
if you are interested.
