Thanks! For those interested in finding out about, "the rest of the story",
there is an excellent article by Richard S. Rodney titled, "Houston's
Glebe", on William Houston's gift to the church and the subsequent action by
Anthony Houston [Anthony Houston is my 7th great-grandfather]. Among other
places, this article can be found in the book, "The collected Essays of
Richard S. Rodney on Early Delaware".

"Glebe" means parsonage, so the property bequethed by Houston was for the
use
of the pastors.
