Hello All:
One more comment - I too am distressed at the change in hours. However, I
must say a good word here - a year ago I sent for death certificate for my
grandmother - I had address, month, day and year - this was in 1943 so I
didn't feel out of reach of their record keeping. I received the form letter
that they could not find it. Sounded unbelievable to me so I e-mailed them
"complaining" nicely - lol. Got a response from Rocky Rockefeller requesting
my original request number - when you get a response from them whether they
find it or not it will have "Record Request" number and "Receipt Number" on
it - so don't throw this out for further reference if needed. Also, it will
help them know who did NOT do their job???? Lo and behold, got a reply from
him that they did find the death certificate. So, if you have specific info
and they do not find it try contacting them again. Hope this helps, Ahlive
