Hi Rooters,

Wanted to that all that responded to my Brittingham reqest. It's nice
to see so much help out there.......

Alas, I still don't know who the parents of Elijah and Isaac
are.....there have been thoughts that Micajah and Tabitha Newbold were
the parents, but the only recorded child is Purnell b 1745.......and
they dissapear in the 1750's and nothing more is known of them. So I am
back to trying to track Samuel Jr. b 1740 who married Anne then moved to
NC, she must have died and he married Mary in NC, came back to Worcester
and died in 1758. Nothing more is known of the whereabouts of Mary and
the four children, I can find no orphans records for these children,
Elijah b 1740, Solomon, Samuel, and Polly. She may have moved them back
to NC in 1758 to be with her family.........I have a copy of his
inventory with Mary's signature and an Isaac and Elijah, (Uncles,
Cousins?) signed as next of kin.

Does anyone out there have any books or records on this line? ANY help
would be appreciated. There was a Samuel that was arrested along with
Robet Pitts for trading with the enemey on July 23, 1781, my Elijah and
Isaac were put with John Houston in 1783, as young men. My thinking is
that if this Samuel was the father, again no mother listed, might have
been the reason for this. Am grasping at straws now......

thanks

Joanie
