Subject: [LDR] LAYTON brick walls

In the Bridgeville area, Solomon LAYTON (c1756-12 Jan 1822) left wife Sally,
daus Sally, Letita/Elisha and Nancy, and sons Jabez, William and John.
Looking for Solomon's parents.

Also looking in Bridgeville area for parents of Clement LAYTON (27 May
1787-30 Sep 1839) who married in 1816 Sarah Wilson Cannon, widow of Wingate
Cannon. They had Mitchel, Jessie W., James B., Eleanore A. Elizabeth Little,
Purnell M., Jerome Napolean Bonaparte, and Caleb Sipple Layton.
Circumstantial evidence points to Purnell Layton and Elinor Hickman as
parents, but this has not been proved.

HELP!!!! Any clues certainly would be appreciated.
