Dear Dot,
Saw your message and hope you don't mind if I ask you a favor. While you
are in Bethel, IF you happen to see any information on ANYONE named
Sauerhoff, would you please get it (or copy) for me? Someone in the family
apparently had a shipbuilding business there, but I have no details. Think
it was before 1880, but not sure right now. Anyway, the name is extremely
uncommon, so ANYONE with that name would be of interest to me. Will be
more than happy to reimburse you for any costs.
Aloha,
Betty
