Bobbie,
Many apologies for being week late!
The following material is far from complete and pre-dates my
experiencing Internet genealogy, but perhaps it may help. You'll also
notice that sources were not a priority with me ten years ago, but I'm sure
that I can find them again with little effort. The location in every case
is Worcester County, MD unless otherwise specified.

FIRST GENERATION
1. William Beachbord b. 1722 or before; d. before 9 Oct. 1761; m. 1st
Unknown; 2nd Rachel Porter, widow. On 7 Mar 1743 William bought "Hill's
Fork", Worcester Co. and must have been at least 21 to do so. On 31 March
1743 Rachel Porter bought "Lock", also in Worcester. (Dryden - Land Records
of Worcester Co., MD). Died intestate; next of kin: Levi Beachbord, James
Sturgis.
When William's estate was settled, Rachel Beachbord was named his
widow; she stated that she had two minor chldren. She died testate, leaving
"Lock" to a son by her first marriage.
Child by Unknown:
+2 i Levi Beachbord
Children by Rachel Porter:
+3 ii Benjamin Beachbord
iii Unknown.

SECOND GENERATION
2. Levi Beachbord b. 1734 or before; d. after 1789; m. 1st Rebecca Unknown,
2nd Sarah Milbourn, widow of Solomon. In 1748 Levi belonged to the Militia
and must have been at least 14 to do so. In 1762, he states that he is the
son of William. Also that year Levi sold "Hutton Hill" with Rebecca and
in 1763 he patented "Newark"; both were in Worcester Co. His wife in 1763
was Sarah. He is named in the 1783 tax list and 1789 was the date of
his last real estate transaction. Children unknown although Joshua,
William and possibly the husband of Anna (see Third Generation) seem likely
candidates.
3. Benjamin Beachbord. He married Elizabeth Thompson in Bedford Co., VA
after 1770, stating that he had been born in MD (Quaker records). He is
considered the ancestor of the Southern branch of the family. This
information is available if desired.
