Hi everyone! I am new to this list and searching for my ancestor, John
BIBBEE (BIBBY) on the Eastern Shore of MD/DE in 1736-1780. Have found one
reference to a wedding bond between a John BIBBY and a John Mackarthy on
Nov. 12 (no year given but register was 1702-1708) in St. Paul's Parish,
Kent Co., MD. Also, a Bible record from Sussex Co., DE for a Matthew (b.
1712/13) and Esther (b. 1710)
BIBBY. They were from a well-known family of Bibbys from Northhampton Co.,
VA, and may not be related to my John. Many thanks, Clark Blake
