PLEASE!!!!

Let's not open this can of worms again.

The Jehan Claude you refer to was Jehan Claude period. He was not a Landry
and he did not father either of the Rene Landrys. He was married to Marie
Salé and died, therefpre leaving Marie Salé a widow of Jehan Claude. This
fact was entered into the census records on early Acadia.

Speculation by later genealogists tried to place Marie Salé as the mother of
Rene Landry lejeune (quite a leap) and an even bigger leap was trying to make
Jehan Claude into Jean-Claude Landry.

Jean-Claude Landry is a myth.
