Hello

I have just received Lydia Ernestine MAUREAU's birth certificate, born 3rd October 1879 at 49 Lugley Street, Newport. (Lydia's grandparents address)

Parents:
Mother - Ellen Elizabeth MAUREAU (nee DYER)
Father - Ernest Pierre Prix Eranistz ?? MAUREAU

I wonder if anyone has any ideas on how to find them on the 1881 census or even any census!!
I have tried just Lydia's name age 2, give or take 2 to 5 years, but nothing comes close. I have also looked on the 1901 census but not found them either.

Given the strange surname I'm not surprised as it could easily be mis-spelt but I can't fathom it.

Any help or ideas gratefully received.
